MVC Support with KenticoCMS 4.0
Can we work with KenticoCMS 4.0 with Visual Studio 2010? Does it supports MVC pattern also? If yes, how we can convert an existing Kentico web application to MVC pattern?

Regrettably no, the MVC architecture is supported in version 6 or higher.

Thanks for the reply.

Does Kentico 4.0 supports Visual Studio 2010 then, without MVC architecture? As per this link (http://www.kentico.com/Company/Press-Center/2010/Kentico-CMS-5-5-Supports-Visual-Studio-2010-and-Mo) Visual Studio 2010 is supported from Kentico 5.5 only.

Hello,

Visual Studios are backward compatible, so when you open Kentico CMS 4.0 in the Visual Studio 2010 you would need to just go through the convert process (do not change the .Net version in the second step) and everything will work as usual.
