Special Characters in page title - is it possible?
Hi guys,

I am trying to create a proof-of-concept site using the Free version (in the hope that I can convince the PTBs to buy it) but have run into a snag. The name of the company has an e-acute in it, and several of the page have the company name in their title (for some of our products, for example).

I tried to add the HTML entity é to the title where needed, but that creates URLs such as /Contact-Attach-eacute;/

Is there a way around this? I really need the correct character to show up in the page titles, but not if it's going to cause havoc with the URLs...

Cheers.

Hello,

You can specify name with appropriate HTML entity into 'Properties -> Menu -> Menu caption' field. It won't be used in URL, but it will be used in menus automatically.

Best Regards,
