Urgent: Problem in using SearchBox control in external application

Hello,

I am using Kentico CMS 4.0 and I added SearchBox control in my external application and then I wish to show all my search result using searchresult control.

I added SearchBox control in .NET application and then I am not getting that how to redirect my search parameters where I placed SearchResult control.

Please tell me that what code I should write in CMSSearchDialog1_DoSearch() method to move my search text to search result page and then display all results there.

My searchresult page is working fine. Please just tell me that how could I transfer my searches text to search result page.

Hello Anuj,

You may redirect the URL to the page with search results and send search text by query string. Please see here: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/controls/cmssearchdialog_cmssearchresul.htm for more details.

The sample URL:
<URL of search page>?searchtext=text&searchmode=AnyWord&searchscope=searchallcontent

The Search results web part takes the parameters from query string automatically.
