Ecommerce Template - Send to freind

I am able to send emails from other parts of the site without issue but cannot get this feature to work. This is the one located on the product pages. Any ideas on how to make this work?

When I enter a valid email address and add some text to the message area, I then click the send button. It tells me the email was successfully sent but I never receive it. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

Hi Pavel,

Regarding the Email from property, where do I find that? If it is in the site manager settings then I do have a valid email address entered there. All of the other email functionality appears to be working correctly. But if you could tell me where this property is set I can check again. As the other email tasks are sending as expected, I doubt there is any filter blocking it.

Hi Pavel,

You can ignore my previous response as I realized I had to edit this within the web part. The basic functionality is now there as it does send an email properly now. One problem though, when I click on the image send within the email it takes me to the site and displays the picture larger but not to the product page. Is there a way I can simply have it link to the product page?

By the way I have renewed my support agreement so I will be able to ask for help using the normal channels. I am just waiting to receive the product delivery.

This transformation is used when sending e-mails. You can modify it so that it generates a link to your site instead of the image. Best regards, Pavel Knotek
