I have created an E-commerce site on the V4 system. for some reason payment notifications are NOT being sent..

I have:
In my checkout process a couple of extra steps - payment & 3D Secure, of which custom controls are used in conjuction with a custom gateway.

I also have E-commerce -> configuration -> store settings -> Emails -> Payment notification checked.

I also have the Order Status -> Completed & Payment received status have send notification enabled.

When an order is placed, the payment received status gets set. I would assume this is when an email should be sent though an email is not being sent.

Any ideas?

should i need to call some method in any addtional custom control?
