Prospect tracking module
Hello,

We're currently researching options for a plug-in prospect tracking module into our Kentico platform (v4.0). We'd like the module to have the following capabilities:

Visit info
- User origin data (country, city, company, etc)
- Page before info (referral page, search terms used (if applicable))
- Visit history (pages viewed, time of visit, etc)
- Computer info (IP address, browser, etc)

Lead capture
- Aggregate leads captured from site
- Link visit info to lead details (when applicable)

Is anyone aware of any existing, off-the-shelf modules for Kentico that already do this? If so, please let me know.

If you're not aware of any pre-existing modules, please let us know if you think you can help build something like this. This is currently only a general idea of what we'd like; we'd definitely want to scope it out in more detail. We'd also like for any solution to be flexible enough to be easily modified from our end as our needs possibly change.

Thanks very much,
Andy

RE:Prospect tracking module
Hello,

Kentiico offers a basic web analytics module. You can find more information on what data it collects at the following chapter in our Developer's guide.
Other information capturing needs to be done by yourself with your custom code or using some third party software.
I am not sure, what do you mean by "Lead capture", could you please describe this part of your question further?

Best regards,

RE:Prospect tracking module
Hi Boris,

Thank you for your response. I'd looked at the web analytics module, and besides the fact that we can't access it because we use the Professional Edition of Kentico, the features didn't seem any more advanced than what we already get with Google Analytics.

What GA doesn't offer, and what we'd like, is the ability to (a) view visitor info on an individual and micro level (ie, page by page views of each visitor to our site) and (b) link this info to any leads that are captured from our site. This first capability is provided by many vendors (such as opentracker.net) but I don't know of any vendors that tie this page by page data to captured leads.

What I mean by captured leads is any visitor who comes to our site and enters their contact details, ie name and email address. When that happens, we'd like our tracking system to be able to link these contact details to the visit(s) that the lead would have made to the site.

I hope this clarifies what we're looking for, please let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,
Andy

RE:Prospect tracking module
Hello,

Please find my answers bellow:

a) This is possible to achieve with some customization, but you need the source code license to achieve this.
b) This is also possible, but the amount of customization is very large. For more information I would recommend you to use our consultation service.

Best regards,

RE:Prospect tracking module
Hi Andy

Not sure if you have found a suitable solution for this, we can integrate kentico with a very advanced web analytics package that will provide more sophisticated conversion attribution modelling. Google analytics works on a last click model you can adjust this, but data is always collected at an aggregate level, hence there will always be limitations.
The above mentioned solution can also integrate with external applications for example integrating web analytics with paid search and inventory control.

Contact Pull Digital Web Analytics Team if this is still a requirement.

Thanks
