The South West Grid for Learning (SWGfL) are seeking freelance web developers who may be interested in undertaking potential development work for a 3-6 month period from the end of March 2010.
Interested parties must meet and have thorough experience in the following skill set:
• C#.NET Web Forms (ASP.NET) Development (Using .NET 3.5 Framework);
• Development for Kentico CMS (
www.kentico.com) including template creation and custom web part development;
• Comfortable working in Visual Studio 2008 IDE;
• Comfortable working in Dreamweaver CS3 or above;
• Understanding of web server configuration; specifically Windows server 2003/08 and IIS 6/7;
• Ability to work under initiative, effectively prioritising own workload and working under confidentiality.
Our head office is based in Exeter and whilst office-based working would not be required, we would expect any freelancer working with us to be able to attend regular development meetings, particularly at the beginning of any contract.
Any freelancer working with us would need to provide their own equipment. Travel and subsistence expenses would not be paid. Rates would be negotiated based on complexity/duration of workload and freelancer proficiency.
