Xcellimark, an award winning interactive digital agency based in the Orlando area, is looking for an experienced ASP.NET programmer-developer to join our web development team.

Role:
The ASP.NET programmer-developer will work within the development team to deliver custom web development solutions for business clients. Custom web solutions will be based on Microsoft technologies such as Kentico and ASPdotnetstorefront. Xcellimark also develops web solutions with Unix-based technologies such as Drupal. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for web development, problem-solving skills, and an ability to grasp business requirements and translate those into functional and technical requirements for development purposes. This is not a web designer position. It is a programmer-developer position. You must be self-motivated and have a strong desire to learn and make an impact within the company, be a team player, and have good communications and interpersonal skills.

Core Skills Required:
• ASP.NET – C# and VB
• SQL and MySQL
• JavaScript including jQuery
• Visual Studio
• Advanced HTML, CSS (hand coding, no editor)

Necessary Experience:
• Minimum 3 years experience in web development company, web software company or as a web application developer

Technical Requirements:
• .NET (C#, VB)
• Ability to build websites using Visual Studio
• Ability to integrate web-based CMS solutions on the ASP.NET framework
• Windows Server – IIS

Additional Preferred Skills:
• Microsoft SQL Server database replication and/or synchronization
• Kentico CMS, ASPdotnetstorefront and Drupal
• PHP
• Integration with Social Media network APIs such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and WordPress.

Education:
Must have a college degree (4 year preferred) in computer software programming, computer science or equivalent emphasis.

Salary/Terms:
Initially a 3-month temporary contract, leading to the possibility of permanent full-time employee status. We offer a competitive salary that is dependent upon experience.
