About the Position
The Kentico CMS / ASP.NET Developer is a highly-visible role that will serve as the coach/mentor and technical go-to individual for all Kentico system needs. You will be a key strategist for our global website with diverse, seasoned professionals, helping to develop new features and functionality. The team’s flat organizational structure provides autonomy and flexibility.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop core, reusable components within the Kentico system • Perform coding and test code with user experience and aesthetics in mind • Provide in-house troubleshooting for technical issues • Work closely with member services to communicate effectively with non-technical staff • Be responsible for and attentive to system (hardware and software) outages • Ensure feature delivery, realistic estimates, and overall technical excellence • Produce deliverables in an Agile environment with short delivery time frames
Key Experience: • 5+ years in the software industry • Expert-level experience with CMS platforms • Strong C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript development • HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript libraries (ex. responsive design with Bootstrap and JQuery or similar) • Extensive work with Agile SDLC teams • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills • Proven success on a self-directed work team
The following is a plus: • Background developing enterprise solutions within Kentico CMS • CSM or CSD certification (or interested in obtaining through company-sponsored training)
