Kentico CMS Developer - Milton Keynes
Our client is embarking on a significant programme of IT development to transform its user administration and customer facing applications. Part of this work includes the evaluation and selection of a new CMS tool.
We are seeking an individual who can set up and run a Proof of Concept to establish whether Kentico will be the right application for the client. This POC will be in parallel with the other CMS system POC. The individual will be working closely with the existing IT Architect, in-house development team and with the key business stakeholders.
The two POCs will start at the beginning of May and run for 1-2 months, the developer of the successful CMS application will then be retained for a further 6 months in order to build the new site and to support the transition to the business and to provide them with training.

General Technical & Development Experience:
· C#, ASPX, HTML, XML/XSLT, CSS
· Connecting to SOAP Web services
· Kentico Enterprise Edition configuration including workflow
· Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite or Oracle Fusion is a benefit
Responsibilities
1. Provide professional and technical support for the POC team
2. Provide technical leadership and direction on the Ektron set up and maintenance
3. Ensure all software is of a high quality and complies with technical and quality standards.

• Development and enhancement of content-managed web sites for higher-ed institutions and medium-to-large consumer/health sciences companies.
• Development and enhancement of social networking sites which interface with public-facing sites.
• XML web service development and integration (SOAP/REST)
Required experience:
• 1-3 years enterprise web development in Visual Studio .NET (preferably C#)
• Strong HTML/DHTML/CSS skills
• Strong SQL / relational database skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft IIS administration
Additional experience desired:
• Sitecore / Kentico CMS
• Drupal
• E-commerce platforms (e.g., ZNode, AbleCommerce)
• JQuery / AJAX
• XML / XSL
• PHP
