ASP.Net Developer Part-time Contract (approx 20 hrs / week to start)--Remote

Consumer publishing web platform managing 30+ websites in the parenting market is seeking a part-time developer is seeking a part-time developer with 1-2 years of experience and a great passion for consumer web technology and social media.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server. Strong CSS skills and a basic understanding of Javascript are also required.

The site uses Kentico CMS 4.1 ASPX Templates – experience not required, but a significant plus if you have it.

Additional preferred, but not required, experience includes: Linq to SQL, object oriented design and JQuery. Facebook integration experience a bonus.

You’ll be working with our founding management team and tech director. Contract position likely to convert to full-time if desired. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor and grow with a fast growing NYC Metro area start-up.

I am a MCTS certified software engineer having more than 4 years of experience in various Microsoft Technologies like ASP.Net, MVC, SQL Server, MS Commerce Server, WCF etc. Also i am having a very good hands on experience in client-side coding using javascript/jQuery with a good exposure to CSS styles.

Not much but i have having experience on working on Kentico with one of my project so i hope to get a good understanding on project early and i am also a quick learner to this would be of help.I have also worked on Linq to SQL and object oriented architectures.
