Job Outline

Applications specialist, with developer skills, to carry out installation, customisation (including development) and support of Miles 33 software for new and existing Digital, Newspaper and Magazine Publishing customers Worldwide.


Qualification Requirements

Educated to degree level in a Computer or Digital Media Related subject


Job Requirements (in order of importance)

Experience of supporting and/or developing Kentico web sites and WCMS systems.

Ability to translate customer requirements into efficient, productive working solutions

Adaptable, bright, intelligent personality with willingness to learn and become an 'expert' deliverer of new software products and services

Some Programming/Technical knowledge of the following ASP.net, XML, XSLT, VB.net, IIS, JavaScript, HTML5, SQL, Windows, Web Design, CSS

Carry out Training courses on Miles 33 products at all levels from super users through to end users.

Able to communicate with customers and peers at all levels and work on own initiative

Able to travel and spend periods of time on customer sites during installations and upgrades

Assist the Miles 33 Helpdesk with customer support calls

Assist customers with on-site software upgrades and add-ons

Knowledge of Publishing Industry, including new media an advantage

Knowledge of Web CMS such as Kentico, Drupal, Joomla, ...

Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
