Can't import or create site
I am receiving this error when I try to create a site or transfer a site between two installations of Kentico 3.1a:

"No license was found, the import cannot continue without license."

I do have a license for the domain name I am using, but the import always fails with this message. I have tried including the license in the export and also adding the license manually before the import.

RE:Can't import or create site
Hi,

You need to ensure that license key for the domain you are actually in while performing import procedure is present in CMS Site manager -> licenses tab.

Example:

You are in CMS Site manager of www.mydomain.com and you are trying to import web site here from your export package, you need to have valid license for mydomain.com.

Or better explanation, you are accessing for example 147.229.65.32/cmssitemanager section where are you trying to import your web site, you need to have valid license for 147.229.65.32.

If you are sure about this, you can always delete all of the unnecessary licenes from CMS Site manager -> Licenses and leave there just the one you need and restart your application from CMS Site manager -> Administration -> System.

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Miroslav Remias

RE:Can't import or create site
Thank you - that was it. I was accessing CMS Site Manager from an IP address that I did not have a license for, but because the message appeared while trying to create a site I assumed the problem was with the license for the site I was creating.
