Page template use count

It would be nice to have a tab in the "Site Manager" -> "Page templates" -> [template] -> "Page template properties" that lists all of the actual uses of a template by all sites and content pages. This would ease: the management of page templates after site creation, removal of unused templates (for example, Ad-hoc templates that were just created during testing or on accident, etc.), provide quick links to test all content pages that use a template after a developer changes the template, etc.

I know this reply may come far too late, but I encountered a similar need when I first started working with Kentico, so I write a small module utility to do such. It performs a simple query that returns unused templates and then lists them out so they can be safely deleted. No use counts, but that's also possible with a little custom code.

Hi,

I have a requirement where single template is for multiple pages with different content on each page.
According to my knowledge, we can use widget for changing content on different pages which are of same page template.

But I am trying to figure out, is there any option where there are two pages referring to single page template but
1. In first page, there will be only one web part zone.
2. In Second page, there will be three web part zones and one widget zone.
.
When I make any changes to a template, it will reflect in all pages which are referring to this page template which I dont want.

Please help me out to achieve this requirement.
