where to start
I have a website i want to do - this is what must be done

The first stage would be where a photographer would pay to register their details and be able to log on and compile their own profile page (ideally the same template as whats displayed on the site) www.whichphotographer.co.za- I have yet to decide whether to offer online payment options or just have them make an EFT and I would supply them with log in details. Once they have composed their profile from the template and loaded their images - it would go onto the searchabe database.

A prospective client would log on and enter their own search criteria and get a list of suitable matches - they would then be able to click on a photographers details and be taken to that photographers profile page.....

is this going to be very hard to do where do i start please have a look at the above link to see how i want my home page to look

it should be pretty simple right?

RE:where to start
Hello,

you could follow these instructions about paid membership:
http://devnet.kentico.com/Knowledge-Base/E-commerce/Direct-PayPal-payment.aspx

For editing photographer’s profile you could use a User contribution web part. Please see here for more details:
http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/example_editing_partner_profil.htm

The user contribution could allow also uploading images whichy would be displayed in a gallery (choose one of Listings and viewers web parts -
http://devnet.kentico.com/downloads/KenticoCMS_WebParts.pdf ).
The images could be of our CMS.File document type where photographer could add a description which is also searchable. The template of image could be inherited from the parent so that there could be a link to the author’s profile.

The clients could use our standard Search web parts which could be set to search in the profile pages and images. Please study our Web part documentation mentioned above if you would need more information about Search web parts.

I hope this could be a good starting point for you.

Best regards,
Helena Grulichova
