Member	mlux-chakracentral - 10/25/2012 10:30:07 AM Lightbox not working I have the lightbox implemented in my site using the transformation for an Image Gallery then the Select Tranformation using the lightbox. When you click on the image that should show in the lightbox the screen goes gray and but no image is within the lightbox, its just empty. Is there any issues with the webpart/transformations?

The version is Version: 3.1a Build: 3.1.3142 but there is no upgrade that we can do based on our client and their needs.

I have not customized the default transformation. I have tried to alter it as well to get it to work but with no success.

I have tried with a default corp site and it doesnt work.. See link.

Hello.

In what browser (including version) can you reproduce this issue, please? KCMS 3.1a is pretty old and does not support any of current browsers, like IE8 or IE9 or the latest FF and Chrome. Can you reproduce this issue in any of browsers supported in KCMS 3.1a as you can find them at http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/DevGuide31a/system_requirements.htm? Thank you.

Member	mlux-chakracentral - 10/31/2012 11:54:08 AM RE:Lightbox not working Looking at the documentation links you sent me it says "Internet Explorer 6.0 or later Mozilla 1.7.1 or later" Which i would assume would work for anything after 6 and 1.7.1 for mozilla. Is this not the case? Can you guys not get the normal lightbox for this Kentico version to work in modern browsers?

Hello.

I have to admit that “IE 6.0 or later” is very unfortunate formulation. It would basically mean all version older than IE 6.0 which were available when KCMS 3.1a has been released. It certainly does not and cannot mean all future version, even those released three years later (KCMS 3.1a has been released in 2008, IE9 in 2011). You may notice that this formulation is not used anymore and current Developer’s guide says particular versions directly.

In general – if you want to use and be fully compatible with the latest browsers, you should use the latest version of KCMS. Version 3.1a is more than four years old and we cannot guarantee it fully functionality in modern browsers or functionality of old JavaScript codes.

I would recommend upgrading to the latest version for better support of the latest browsers. Thank you for your understanding.
