Hi Nik,

There would be error message saying that you don't have write permissions to that particular export folder. However, this is not your case.

In your case, it somehow get stacked at 'Preparing export' point. To investigate what is going on you need to provide us with event log information that can be find in CMS Site Manager -> Administration -> Event log.

For now, could you please try to perform following operations?

1.) Try to export site/objects using different browser type (IE, Firefox, Opera)
2.) It might be necessary to delete ImportExport folder which is located under ~/App_Data/CMSTemp/ folder (if any) and try to export site/objects again
