New Site Wizard

Hi,

I'm using the 30 day trail version of Kentico CMS and I'm trying to create a new site with the New Site Wizard. I get as far as step 5, Import progress, but this never completes, and the progress remains at "Objects are being imported.". When I cancel after an hour or so, the projects is on the sites page, but clicking edit causes a "404 - File not found". Is it not possible to create a new site when your evaluating Kentico CMS. If it is possible when can't I create the site?

Hi John,

could you please try to log into the Site manager (http://your_address/CMSSiteManager/default.aspx)? There is a possibility to delete your incomplete site and create a new one. Is it accessible?

The long time of installation could be caused by a slow database connection.
Could you please tell me which browser you are using and what is the HW of your server?
