Need help importing to live site
Hi,
I have exported a site on my local installation.
I uploaded it to the correct folder online.
I selected import site and when its done I get this error:

WARNING: Insufficient write permissions. Please copy manually files and folders listed below:

I changed some settings on my local kentico, somethig to do with creating actual copies of transformations.
THANKS

Ive done what you suggested to the main kenticoCMS folder on my local, and still got same error.

RE:Need help importing to live site
Hi,

You need to modify the permissions for the web site folder where you want to import the site. I assume that it is on some server.

Hi,

By accident I have deleted your last post (you posted it twice and I wanted to delete it only once :-)).

Original post:
forgot to mention I'im using- shared hosting enviroment

does this change your answer?
thanks

Answer:
You need to ask your hosting provider to grant sufficient disk permissions for the application. Here you can find list of our hosting partners where should not be any problems running Kentico CMS - http://www.kentico.com/Partners/Hosting-Partners.aspx
