Installation for multiple websites

I installed the cms on a new server setup for multiple websites following the directions in the Developer's Guide . The sitemanager works fine. I imported a website. When i try to use the cmsdesk for my site the tree and homepage shows fine, but every other page i get a message indicating Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

any thing i can try?

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." I double checked the host headers were setup in the Advanced section of the website properties. still not luck.

Turns out, we have an ISAPI rewriting engine already running on our web server. It was intercepting the requests. I had to modify the rewrite rules to ignore the sites running on Kentico. thanks.
