Point of MyDesk, Tools, Administration
Hi! I couldn't find where to post "really dumb questions" so I'm going to throw this up here:

1) What's the point of MyDesk, Tools, Administration???

Like, I understand you can have a site and that site has a Blog in it... but then I see "My blogs" on MyDesk as well? What does that mean?

2) Plus who would have access to CMS Desk? I would imagine only the developer would, would they not? And the administrator... but the MyDesk and Tools actually makes it look like another site.

3) Plus on IIS I'm used to having multiple websites. Now we control all websites... multiple websites.. from the "CMS Desk"??

Thanks.

Hi,

Our documentation is here: http://devnet.kentico.com/Documentation.aspx

I would recommend you the Quick Start Guide, the User’s Guide, the CMS Tutorial (portal engine), if you use Personal site then see Personal Guide. For special issues please use the Developer’s Guide.
