PayPal Integration

Howdy all,

I was just wondering if anyone has had any success in using PayPal properly with the eCommerce areas of Kentico?

I've tried to setup a Sandbox account with paypal, and use the default Corporate site in the portal engine to test it out nice and quick.

Even following the Developer's guide, it doesn't seem to want to work properly. The error "Unable to finish payment: Payment gateway url not defined." shows up.

Under the paypal settings in the Site Manager, there is already a page in Kentico which is set to handle the IPN. Am I missing something? As long as I have the email address in there it should work correctly?

It seems you haven't set the PayPal gateway in the right way. Could you please follow the

and
http://kentico.com/docs/ecommerceguide/developing_custom_payment_gate.htm
documents and set all the information for the PayPal item in the 'CMS Desk-> Tools-> E-commerce-> Configuration-> Payment methods' as stated there?

Could it be because im using anonymous account for all, my user purchasing on the site? im using Kentico 5.0,can i still incorporate the Direct Payment( http://devnet.kentico.com/Knowledge-Base/E-commerce/Direct-PayPal-payment.aspx).
