Problem with site and content staging
Hi,

One of our site is currently not working correctly.

We have a staging site and we use the content staging module to synchronise content when we are ready to release the content changes.

We performed a synchronisation of the content as usual but following that we are seeing some strange problems. The site works perfectly for about 1 to 2 hours and then breaks. A lot of the content becomes corrupt or does not load at all. We are also seeing differing issues with differing connections and differing browsers.

Chrome on 3 of our machines show 'Page not found', however two machines display the content correctly in Chrome. Firefox 4 on 2 machines show content and on another 2 machines Firefox 4 shows no content. IE currently shows no content on some machines and other machines see the site working fully.

The temporary fix is to clear the cache on the live server but that is only temporary and the site then becomes unstable again. We have tried a full resynchronisation but again that fixes the issue for about 1 hour and the problems come back. We have even rebooted the server and restarted the Kentico application pool in IIS.

The synchronisation does not report any failures so it appears as if that has worked correctly. It appears to be a caching issue. Does anyone know what the issue could be and is there a fix for it apart from reinstall kentico from the live site and run a full import from the staging version ?

Could you please also let me know your caching configuration witch is set up on your site?
