Pagers limited to 500 elements
Our pagers in the CMSRepeater objects max out at 500 items. Is there a way of increasing this number?

Could you please try to edit the web part property for page size? It is default set to 10 items/page, so if you will set it e.g. 20 items/page, tha pager number will reduce. You can find this property e.g. in Design mode -> Configure Repeater web part -> Properties -> Paging -> Page Size.
