Hi,

I am new to Kentico, so it may very well be I am missing something obvious. But it's escaping me.

I am using the Portal model. I have built a fairly simple web part and managed to include it in my site.

However, I am not trying to add a CMS editable Region to the web part. I have tried using the editabletext.ascx webcontrol by dragging it on my webpart. That results in a 500 error.

I then tried using the CMSEditableRegion from the cms.controls namespace. That failed with a missing CMSPageManager. I added the CMSPageManager to the webpart. It complies but the edits don't get saved. I then tried moving CMSPageManager to the master page. That had no effect either.

What am I missing here. In advance, thanks for you time and effort.
