Using Document Selector without /getdoc/... ?
Hello,

Our clients are using the Document Selector to link to documents within a site, but instead of using the friendly, readable url (e.g. /category/subcategory/document_name.aspx) it shows up as /getdoc/adln3w8u27fbsdks/.aspx. Is there any way to avoid getdoc and show the friendly url instead?

Hi,

Please go to Site Manager -> Settings -> URLs -> Use permanent URLs -> uncheck this property. This will transform links friendly URL.

This does not not work any long in v5. Please advise as to how to get the friendly URLs for documents now.

This setting should work that way in 5.x versions as well. Please double check your settings in Site Manager (http://devnet.kentico.com/FAQs/General.aspx#FAQ208).
