multiple page templates
Hi

I am facing some problems in kentico 2.0

1) I want to know how to create multiple page templates and implement them on different pages in Kentico 2.0.

2) Because whenever I create a page under the root, it automatically inherits the root page template and which is in noneditable form.

3) In this situation , I am not able to convert any HTML page to Kentico except the home page.

Please suggest what should we do and how can we resolve this issue on priority.

Re: multiple page templates
Hello,

Thank you for your message. The root content is inherited to all sub-pages by default (it's the master page). If you want to display the sub-page in the master page, you need to add the "General/Page Placeholder" web part to your root template so that it loads the content of the sub-pages.

You can find more details on page templates, master pages and content inheritance in the Quick Start Guide - http://www.kentico.com/docs/tutorial/page_content_inheritance.htm - steps 4 to 6.

If you need any additional details, please feel free to ask.

Best Regards,
