Transformation in non-published state
Hi,

I have a document that uses workflow. The document is in non-published step of workflow cycle, so it does not seen on the CMS Desk web page, even for the users that have permission to check in and edit the document in the given step. So the user does not see the document using some of its predefined transformation.

I would like to ask you, how I can see the document using the same transformation as it would be in published state (i.e. I could see if the document transformation will be working correctly)?

Do I have to make it programatically or just to configure some setting (premissions etc.)?

Thank you for your answer.

Re: Transformation in non-published state
I know that it is related with the SQL Query of the document, where there is usually a condition Published = 1. But I don’t know how to force the CMS system to use different Query when the page is in editing mode. By the way, how I can realize that the page is in edit mode?

Re: Transformation in non-published state
Hello,

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, the preview functionality is currently not supported. The only way how to preview the content in the page context is to use the Content staging module which allows you to preview the content on the staging server and then publish the changes to the live server.

The preview functionality will be fully supported in version 2.0 that is scheduled for September.

Best Regards,
