Does Kentico support SQL Server 2005?
Not much else to add here other than... well, do you? ;)

I am looking into hosting and the one I've found only supports MSSQL2005.

I'm using the C# version of 1.9 and it supports 2005 perfectly.

Yes, Kentico CMS supports both 2000 and 2005, including MSDE and Express Edition.

Actually one more question, although I can guess what the answer will be, but here goes, does it, or do you have any plans to support MySQL?

Unfortunately, we currently do not plan to support MySQL since you can use either SQL Server 2005 Express Edition (free) on your server or you can use an affordable web hosting, such as http://www.discountasp.net.
