I have workflow turned on for all my content types. If an item is deleted and restored from the recycle bin, any further changes to the item are never published.

scenario:

Edit an article
Publish
Delete
Restore
[Publish]
Edit*
Publish

* The last change will never be pushed to published. It always remains a the edit copy.

Has anyone ever had something similar or know what I 'm doing wrong? Or is this a bug?

In production I am using version 1.6b but I also see this problem in a demo version 1.7b on my development setup.
