Kentico 1.8 (BUG?)
Hello,

I've downloaded kentico 1.8 on December the 27th.
This new version works fine but there is one thing wich bother's me a little.
In cmsdesk content module, when you click in a folder item (or a document template item wich is under a folder) in the root of the tree (I mean that there is no menuitem between the root and the selected item) in the "Site" view, I found the following error:

Server Error in '/WebProject' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested Url: /WebProject/Foldername.aspx

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:1.1.4322.2032; ASP.NET Version:1.1.4322.2032

I know we are not seeing that error in the site 'cause we're not allowing to view folder's content but pages, but It's not friendly for final users to find an error like this. When you see it in the edit mode, everything it's ok.
I supose there is a problem with geturl function or the function you're using to display the content module. (because of the "Foldernale.ASPX" extension... for the document items, I suppose the problems comes from the fact that there's no viewer in the root and they cannot exist stand alone)

I didn't remember that in version 1.7b this feature worked like this...
Can't we configure it to show a blank page instead that error? (errors make feel panic to final users)

Thanks

Re: Kentico 1.8 (BUG?)
Hello,

this happens if the document doesn't have any parent document of cms.menuitem type. We will fix this issue in version 1.8a soon.

Best Regards,
