Sync Problem on Document Template
Hi

If we create a new document template on source server, the content staging will NOT sync this new document template and the nodes with this type to the target server, even we manually copy the cmsdesk\Metadata\CMS to the target server.

It seems that the ONLY solution is manually create the corresponding document template on the target server, right?

Thank you for your message.

Yes, you need to create the corresponding document template on your server to keep the metadata and database structure compatible.

You can also just copy the metadata and create a corresponding document table within the server database to avoid manual creation. You can use our new tool Kentico Compare SQL to compare the databases and get the table creation script. You can find the tool at www.comparesql.com
