File uploading within a document type?
Hello.

Wondering if it is possible, or whether or not there is a better approach, to allowing an editor to upload a file while entering content for a new document type?

As an example, if there is a structured document type named "Company", is it possible for this document type to have fields such as "Company Name" and "Company Logo", where the logo field or type produces a file uploader allowing the editor to upload the appropriate logo for each company entered?

Many thanks in advance.

Re: File uploading within a document type?
Hello,

Thank you for your post. The editing form cannot contain the file upload directly. Instead, you need to use the "File Selection" field type in your document template. Then, the user needs to upload the logo to the content tree repository first and select it when creating/editing the "Company" document type.

Best Regards,
