RE:license limitations
Hi Lou,
thank you for your message.

Since you purchased the Standard edition you have a full license key for localhost also in Standard Edition. This edition has some limitation like number of item in e-commerce module, 1 blog per site etc.

You can compare the editions here: http://www.kentico.com/cms-asp-net-features/Feature-Matrix.aspx

So this is the reason why you don't have an access to some modules or limits of some documents.

If you need some features from Professional or Enterprise edition you could purchase the upgrade to the higher edition for the price difference between editions.

RE:license limitations
Hello,

Could you please tell me what features you use on your site? Here you can find the feature matrix in which you can see what features are available in your edition: Feature matrix

RE:license limitations
This is happening to me as well. I am a new employee with SolutionStream and I got the project all setup but everytime I hit a kentico function I get "The page can not be displayed due to license limitations". However, the other developer that helped me set this up has no problem access any of the Kentico pages. Is there something that has to be installed on this computer inorder to access it?

RE:license limitations
Hello,

Actually you don't need to have installed anything to make it work correctly. Are you access your site on the same domain as your colleague? It might be possible that you have put another license key of different edition within your site.

Moreover may I ask you, what version and edition are they using? Since I see you have valid maintenance, you could write us to support@kentico.com as well for further details.

Best regards

RE:license limitations
Hi,

I am sorry for this inconvenience. I have updated the link. However, you are checking very old forums so it is possible that some pages do not longer exist. Instead, you could try using the search on our kentico.com web site :-)

RE:license limitations
Hi,

You need to check the event log (Site Manager -> Administration -> Event Log) to see which features are not supported by your edition. You can also send a message to sales@kentico.com and we will send you the list of features available in the standard edition.

Best regards,

RE:license limitations
Hello,

From the description it seems that you have exceeded the number of users that are marked as editors. Please, check your users and how many of them are marked as editors - if you are exceeding that number, you need to uncheck this setting for appropriate number of users.

RE:license limitations
Hi,

the editors are limited in FREE edition only. Isn't it possible that you have entered some Free edition key? Please check the Licenses tab and remove any such keys.
