Upgrade Deployment
I have looked around on the forums, FAQ, and provided documentation for some instruction on what is the best way to upgrade an existing Kentico Site to the latest version (in this case v2.1a --> v2.1d).

I'm sure I can get there by just uploading the latest files and then using a database comparision tool like Red Gate, but with such a slick initial deployment wizard in Kentico I was expecting to find something similar for upgrades (particularly withthe aggressive release schedule Kentico has).

Can someone suggest a best practice for upgrading an existing site to a newer version of KenticoCMS? Is there a built in mechanism that I just am overlooking?

RE:Upgrade Deployment
Hi Charles,

If you go to Downloads and click on 'Upgrades' in the left hand menu, you will find the upgrade procedures for 2.1a to 2.1d

RE:Upgrade Deployment
Hi Charles,

When you go to 'Download' section of Kentico's site and visit 'Upgrades', you can see upgrade packages which consist of all necessary files and instructions you need for successful upgrade. Please note upgrade procedure in Kentico CMS is incremental.
