FormExtensions.FormField Method

Returns HTML markup for given formComponent. The markup contains a label and an editing element representing the form component given.

Parameters

htmlHelper

Type: Kentico.Web.Mvc.ExtensionPoint<HtmlHelper>
HtmlHelper extension point.

formComponent

Type: Kentico.Forms.Web.Mvc.FormComponent
The form component to render the markup for.

renderingConfiguration (Optional)

Type: Kentico.Forms.Web.Mvc.FormFieldRenderingConfiguration
Configuration for the form field rendering. If null, Default is used.

Return Value

Type: MvcHtmlString
HTML markup for form component.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type ExtensionPoint<HtmlHelper>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
