  Default  
  Web part control ID: Serves as an identifier for the web part. This ID must be unique within the context of each page template. The value of this property may only contain alphanumeric characters and the underscore character ( _ ).  
  Web part title: Title of the web part displayed on the Design tab of CMS Desk and in on-site editing mode. If empty, the value of the Web part control ID property is used for this purpose.  
   

  Visibility  
  Visible: Indicates if the web part should be displayed.  
  Hide on subpages: Indicates if the web part should be hidden on sub-pages. If checked, the web part will not be displayed on documents that inherit the web part from a parent document.  
  Show for document types: Contains a list of document types on which the web part should be displayed. If the currently selected document uses the page template containing this web part, but its type is not specified by this property, the web part will be hidden. The document types in the list must be specified by their code names and separated by semicolons (;). If empty, the web part will be displayed on all document types.  
  Display to roles: Contains a list of roles to which the web part should be displayed. This may be used to implement documents with specific functionality for different types of users. The roles in the list must be specified by their code names and separated by semicolons (;). If empty, the web part will be displayed to all users.  
   

  Search index  
  Indexes: Allows the selection of one or more smart search indexes that should be used for searching.  
   

  Document filter  
  Path: Can be used to limit the path that is searched by document searches.  
  Document types: Allows document searches to be restricted to specific document types. Document types must be entered using their code names and separated by semicolons (;). If empty, all document types specified by the index are searched.  
  Combine with default culture: Indicates whether search results should be retrieved from documents in the default culture in addition to the culture that is currently selected.  
  Culture code: Sets the culture code of the documents that should be included in searches. If empty, the current culture is searched. The ##ALL## macro can be used to search in documents of all cultures.  
  Check permissions: Indicates whether the web part should filter out documents for which the current user does not have the "read" permission from search results.  
   

  Search settings  
  Search options: Sets the level of syntax that is allowed in search expressions: Basic - users are allowed to input special syntax, but cannot search specific fields(field:value). None - users can only enter text, everything is processed as a part of the search expression. Full - all search options can be used, including field searching.  
  Search condition: Sets a search condition that is added to any conditions specified in the search expression. You can use special characters (+ -) and field conditions (e.g. +documentnodeid:(int)255).  
  Search results order: Defines the order in which search results are displayed. You can specify one or more document fields (separated by commas) according to which the results will be sorted. The ##SCORE## macro can be used to order results by their score (relevance). The default order is ascending, you can change this using the DESC keyword (e.g. articleid DESC). If you encounter the "field <fieldname> does not appear to be indexed" error when using multiple indexes, try specifying the type of the field using the following syntax: (date)createdwhen  
  No results text: Sets the text that is displayed if no search results are found.  
  Show parsing errors: Indicates if parsing errors caused by incorrect search query syntax should be displayed by the web part. Such errors may only occur if special search expressions are allowed by the 'Search options' property.  
  Max. results: Sets the maximum number of search results that can be displayed. If empty, no limits are used.  
  Search text required: If enabled, searches will only be performed if a non-empty search expression is submitted. You can disable this property if you wish to allow smart search filtering without the need to specify a search text.  
  Block field-only search: If enabled, only search expressions that contain at least one standard content keyword will be allowed. With this property disabled, it is also possible to submit field search expressions composed of nothing but special query syntax, such as: DocumentNodeID:(int)17  
  Search on each page load: If enabled, the search results will be displayed immediately when the page is loaded, without the need to submit the search dialog. This also applies if the page is refreshed via postback, for example when using a Smart search filter.  
   

  Transformations  
  Transformation name: Sets the transformation according to which the search results will be displayed. Predefined result transformations can be found under the CMS.Root document type.  
   

  Attachment search settings  
  Search in attachments: Indicates if the content of document attachments should be included in searches. The SQL server must be properly configured for full-text search before attachment searching is possible.  
  WHERE condition: Sets the WHERE condition that limits which documents should have their attachments searched.  
  ORDER BY expression: Sets the ORDER BY expression that defines the order in which document attachments will be displayed in search results.  
   

  Pager settings  
  Page size: Determines the maximum number of records displayed per page.  
  Paging mode: Determines which method is used to pass information about the currently selected page - it can be passed either as a parameter in the URL (Query string) or through postback (Postback).  
  Querystring key: Sets the name of the URL parameter used to pass information about the current page number (used if the Paging mode property is set to Query string).  
  Group size: Sets the maximum amount of page number links that will be displayed together. Any additional links that do not fit can be accessed in the next or previous group.  
  Max. pages: Sets the maximum number of pages which should be displayed, even if the results are divided into more pages.  
  Display first & last automatically: If enabled, the "go to first page" and "go to last page" buttons of the pager will be displayed only when there is no other way to access the first or last page through the pager.  
  Display previous & next automatically: If enabled, the "go to previous page" and "go to next page" buttons of the pager will be displayed only when there is no other way of accessing the previous or next page through the pager.  
  Hide pager for single page: Indicates whether the pager should be hidden if the displayed items fit onto a single page.  
  Reset scroll position: Indicates whether scroll position should be cleared after post back  
   

  Pager design  
  Pages: Sets the transformation used for page links. Use <%# Eval("Page") %> to get the appropriate page number dynamically, <%# Eval("PageURL") %> to get the page URL or <%# Eval("PageLink") %> to get a link to the appropriate page.  
  Current page: Sets the transformation used for the currently selected page. Use <%# Eval("Page") %> to get the current page number, <%# Eval("PageURL") %> to get the page URL or <%# Eval("PageLink") %> to get a link to the current page.  
  Page separator: Sets the transformation used as a separator between page links.  
  First page: Sets the transformation used for the link to the first page. Use <%# Eval("FirstURL") %> to get the URL of the first page.  
  Last page: Sets the transformation used for the link to the last page. Use <%# Eval("LastURL") %> to get the URL of the last page.  
  Previous page: Sets the transformation used for the link to the previous page. Use <%# Eval("PreviousURL") %> to get the URL of the previous page.  
  Next page: Sets the transformation used for the link to the next page. Use <%# Eval("NextURL") %> to get the URL of the next page.  
  Previous group: Sets the transformation used for the link to the previous group of page links. Use <%# Eval("PreviousGroupURL") %> to get the URL of the previous group.  
  Next group: Sets the transformation used for the link to the next group of page links. Use <%# Eval("NextGroupURL") %> to get the URL of the next group.  
  Pager layout: Sets the transformation that determines the overall design of the pager.  
   

  Web part container  
  Web part container: Specifies the name of the container (box) to be displayed around the web part. Only containers defined in Site Manager -> Development -> Web part containers can be selected. The selected container can be edited directly by using the Edit button.  
  Container title: Sets a title for the container. This title is displayed only if the {%ContainerTitle%} macro is used in the code of the container.  
  Container CSS class: CSS class used for the container. Applied only if the {%ContainerCSSClass%} macro is used as the value of the Class attribute in the code of the container.  
  Container custom content: Custom content to be used in the container. Applied only if the {%ContainerCustomContent%} macro is used in the code of the container.  
  Hide container on subpages: Indicates if the web part container should be hidden on sub-pages.  
   

  HTML Envelope  
  Content before: HTML content placed before the web part. Can be used to display a header or add some encapsulating code, such as <div> or <table> elements to achieve the required layout.  
  Content after: HTML content placed after the web part. Can be used to display a footer or close the tags contained in the ContentBefore value, such as </div> or </table> elements.  
   

  AJAX  
  Use update panel: Indicates if an AJAX UpdatePanel container should be used for this web part.  
   

  Time zones  
  Time zone: Specifies the type of time zone used for the content of the web part.  
  Custom time zone: May be used to assign a custom time zone specifically for the content of this web part. If selected, the time zone will be used regardless of current user or website time zone settings.  
   

  Performance  
  Disable view state: Indicates if view state should be disabled for this web part.  
  Disable macros: If checked, macros contained in the values of the web part's properties will no longer be resolved.  
   

  Output filter  
  Filter output HTML of web part: If checked, the output code of this web part is processed by the output filters  
  Resolve URLs: If checked, the filter removes the "~" character in relative URLs and replace it with the root URL of the website.  
  Fix attributes: If checked, the filter ensures that all HTML tag attributes are in valid XHTML format.  
  Fix Javascript: If checked, the filter ensures that the type and language attributes are included in all <script> tags.  
  Fix lower case: If checked, the filter ensures that all HTML tags and attributes are generated in lower case.  
  Fix self closing tags: If checked, the filter ensures that HTML tags without end tags are properly closed.  
  Fix tags: If checked, the filter replaces tags that are not XHTML valid with appropriate equivalents (<strong> instead of <b>, <em> instead of <i>).  
  Fix HTML5: If checked, the filter replaces attributes that are obsolete in HTML5 with CSS classes named in format <attribute name>_<attribute value>. The affected attributes are: cellpadding, cellspacing, width, height, border, align, valign  
  Convert TABLE tags to DIV tags: If enabled, the TABLE tags in the output are automatically converted to DIV tags with CSS class corresponding to the tag name (table, tr, td, etc.) Blocks of HTML code can be optionally marked with class="_divs" or class="_nodivs" to allow or disable conversion for that particular block of code.
