  Default  
  Web part control ID: Serves as an identifier for the web part. This ID must be unique within the context of each page template. The value of this property may only contain alphanumeric characters and the underscore character ( _ ).  
  Web part title: Title of the web part displayed on the Design tab of CMS Desk and in on-site editing mode. If empty, the value of the Web part control ID property is used for this purpose.  
   

  Visibility  
  Visible: Indicates if the web part should be displayed.  
  Hide on subpages: Indicates if the web part should be hidden on sub-pages. If checked, the web part will not be displayed on documents that inherit the web part from a parent document.  
  Show for document types: Contains a list of document types on which the web part should be displayed. If the currently selected document uses the page template containing this web part, but its type is not specified by this property, the web part will be hidden. The document types in the list must be specified by their code names and separated by semicolons (;). If empty, the web part will be displayed on all document types.  
  Display to roles: Contains a list of roles to which the web part should be displayed. This may be used to implement documents with specific functionality for different types of users. The roles in the list must be specified by their code names and separated by semicolons (;). If empty, the web part will be displayed to all users.  
   

  Content  
  Path: Specifies the path of the documents that should be selected. If empty, the path will be set to all child documents under the page on which the web part is placed. Use '.' for current document selection.  
  Data source name: In order to display documents provided by a data source web part, its Web part control ID must be entered into this property. The data source web part must be placed on the same page. Only the Documents data source may be connected to this web part.  
   

  Content filter  
  Document types: Determines which document types should be loaded, specified by a list of code names separated by semicolons (;). The * wildcard can be used as a substitute for a random sequence of characters. For example Product.* would include document types such as Product.Camera, Product.CellPhone, Product.Computer etc. If left empty, the web part will retrieve all document types by default. Please note that in this case (empty value), only the common data columns from View_CMS_Tree_Joined will be available. The specific fields of individual document types will not be included, so please consider this when writing transformations, WHERE conditions etc.  
  Category name: Code name of the category. Documents from this category and its subcategories will be filtered out.  
  Combine with default culture: Indicates if the default language version of a document should be used as a replacement if a given document is not translated to the currently selected language. If the 'Use site settings' option is selected, the value is taken from 'Site Manager -> Settings -> Content -> Combine with default culture'.  
  Culture code: Indicates which culture version of the specified documents should be used.  
  Maximum nesting level: Specifies the maximum number of content tree sub-levels from which content should be loaded. This number is relative, i.e. counted from the start of the path specified for the content of the web part. Entering -1 causes all sub-levels to be included.  
  ORDER BY expression: Sets the value of the ORDER BY clause in the SELECT statement used to retrieve the content.  
  Select only published: Indicates if only published documents should be loaded.  
  Select top N documents: Specifies the maximum amount of documents to be loaded. If empty, all possible documents will be selected.  
  Site name: Sets the website (specified by its code name) from which the content should be loaded. If left empty, the current site is used.  
  WHERE condition: Sets the value of the WHERE clause in the SELECT statement used to retrieve the content.  
  Columns: Lists the database columns which should be loaded along with the given objects, separated by commas (,). If empty, all columns will be loaded. Specifying a list without unnecessary columns may significantly improve performance.  
  Filter out duplicate documents: Indicates if the retrieved data should be filtered to contain documents only once, even if they are linked multiple times.  
  Filter name: Sets the name of the Filter web part that should be connected.  
   

  Transformations  
  Transformation: Sets the transformation used for the displayed content in list view mode. Transformations are specified in format <class name>.<transformation name>.  
  Alternating transformation: Sets the transformation used to display even items in list view mode. Transformations are specified in format <class name>.<transformation name>.  
  Selected item transformation: Sets the transformation to be used for the displayed content in detail view mode. Transformations are specified in format <class name>.<transformation name>.  
  Item separator: Contains the code of a separator to be placed between displayed items, e.g. <hr />.  
  Nested controls ID: Must contain the IDs of any nested controls, separated by semicolons (;). For example: myRepeaterID;myDatalistID;myRepeaterID2. This property replaces the previously used NestedRepeaterID and NestedDataListID properties. If you are still using these properties, no changes to functionality will occur, but it is advisable to rewrite your code to use the new property instead. If you need to dynamically set the properties of a nested control, you have to set its DelayedLoading property to 'True'. Please note that this setting can cause problems with ViewState.  
   

  Paging  
  Enable paging: Indicates if the displayed data should be paged.  
  Paging mode: Determines which method is used to pass information about the currently selected page - it can be passed either as a parameter in the URL (Query string) or through postback (Postback).  
  Navigation buttons: Indicates if the buttons used for navigating to the previous and next page should be displayed.  
  Pager position: Determines if the pager is displayed above or below the content displayed by the web part.  
  Page size: Determines the maximum number of records displayed per page.  
  Query string key: Sets the name of the URL parameter used to pass information about the current page number (used if the Paging mode property is set to Query string).  
  Show first and last buttons: Indicates if the buttons used for navigating to the first and last page should be displayed.  
  HTML before: Contains the HTML code placed on the page before the pager.  
  HTML after: Contains the HTML code placed on the page after the pager.  
  Results position: Allows the position of the paging results summary text to be selected.  
  Numbers separator: Contains the HTML code of a separator to be placed between the page number links.  
   

  Relationships  
  Main document: Sets the document for which related documents will be displayed. Either the current document is used, or another document can be specified by entering its NodeGUID. Please note that if relationships are used, only the documents defined by the relationship settings will be displayed.  
  Main document is on the left side: If checked, documents on the right side of the relationship with the specified document will be displayed.  
  Relationship name: Allows the selection of the document relationship that should be used.  
   

  System settings  
  Check permissions: Indicates if the permissions of the current user should be checked for the content of the web part. If enabled, only documents for which the user has the "read" permission will be loaded.  
  Cache item name: Sets the name of the cache key used for the content of the web part. If not specified, this name is generated automatically based on the site, document path, Web part control ID and current user. A cache key can be shared between multiple web parts with the same content on different pages in order to avoid keeping redundant data in the memory.  
  Cache minutes: Sets the number of minutes for which the content of the web part should remain cached before its latest version is reloaded from the database. If left empty, the value entered into the Site Manager -> Settings -> System -> Performance -> Cache content (minutes) setting will be used instead. If set to 0, caching will be disabled for the web part.  
  Cache dependencies: Contains a list of cache keys on which the partial cache of the web part depends. When the specified cache items change, the partial cache of the web part is deleted. Each line may contain a single item only. If the 'Use default cache dependencies' box is checked, the default dependencies will be used, which include all possible object changes that could affect the specific web part.  
   

  No data behavior  
  Hide if no record found: Indicates if the web part should be hidden when no items to be displayed are retrieved.  
  No record found text: Text that should be displayed if no records are found. This text will not be visible if the Hide if no record found property of the web part is enabled.  
   

  Editing buttons  
  Show New button: Indicates if the button for adding new documents should be displayed when viewing the page in edit mode. When the button is used, a document of the first type entered into the Document types property is created at the beginning of the path specified for the web part's content.  
  New button text: Sets the description text for the New document button.  
  Show Edit and Delete buttons: If enabled, the web part offers edit and delete buttons for each item when displaying the page in edit mode. You can set the exact position of the buttons by adding the ##editbuttons## macro into the code of the used item transformation (must be of the ASCX type).  
   

  Web part container  
  Web part container: Specifies the name of the container (box) to be displayed around the web part. Only containers defined in Site Manager -> Development -> Web part containers can be selected. The selected container can be edited directly by using the Edit button.  
  Web part container title: Sets a title for the container. This title is displayed only if the {%ContainerTitle%} macro is used in the code of the container.  
  Container CSS class: CSS class used for the container. Applied only if the {%ContainerCSSClass%} macro is used as the value of the Class attribute in the code of the container.  
  Container custom content: Custom content to be used in the container. Applied only if the {%ContainerCustomContent%} macro is used in the code of the container.  
  Hide container on subpages: Indicates if the web part container should be hidden on sub-pages.  
   

  HTML Envelope  
  Content before: HTML content placed before the web part. Can be used to display a header or add some encapsulating code, such as <div> or <table> elements to achieve the required layout.  
  Content after: HTML content placed after the web part. Can be used to display a footer or close the tags contained in the ContentBefore value, such as </div> or </table> elements.  
   

  AJAX  
  Use update panel: Indicates if an AJAX UpdatePanel container should be used for this web part.  
   

  Time zones  
  Time zone: Specifies the type of time zone used for the content of the web part.  
  Custom time zone: May be used to assign a custom time zone specifically for the content of this web part. If selected, the time zone will be used regardless of current user or website time zone settings.  
   

  Performance  
  Disable view state: Indicates if view state should be disabled for this web part.  
  Disable macros: If checked, macros contained in the values of the web part's properties will no longer be resolved.  
  Partial cache minutes: Sets the number of minutes for which the output HTML code of the web part should remain cached. This process is similar to full-page caching, but only for the code of the web part specifically. If left empty or set to 0, partial caching will be not be used for the web part.  
  Partial cache dependencies: Contains a list of cache keys on which the partial cache of the web part depends. When the specified cache items change, the partial cache of the web part is deleted. Each line may contain a single item only. If the 'Use default cache dependencies' box is checked, the default dependencies will be used, which include all possible object changes that could affect the specific web part.  
   

  Output filter  
  Filter output HTML of web part: If checked, the output code of this web part is processed by the output filters  
  Resolve URLs: If checked, the filter removes the "~" character in relative URLs and replace it with the root URL of the website.  
  Fix attributes: If checked, the filter ensures that all HTML tag attributes are in valid XHTML format.  
  Fix Javascript: If checked, the filter ensures that the type and language attributes are included in all <script> tags.  
  Fix lower case: If checked, the filter ensures that all HTML tags and attributes are generated in lower case.  
  Fix self closing tags: If checked, the filter ensures that HTML tags without end tags are properly closed.  
  Fix tags: If checked, the filter replaces tags that are not XHTML valid with appropriate equivalents (<strong> instead of <b>, <em> instead of <i>).  
  Fix HTML5: If checked, the filter replaces attributes that are obsolete in HTML5 with CSS classes named in format <attribute name>_<attribute value>. The affected attributes are: cellpadding, cellspacing, width, height, border, align, valign  
  Convert TABLE tags to DIV tags: If enabled, the TABLE tags in the output are automatically converted to DIV tags with CSS class corresponding to the tag name (table, tr, td, etc.) Blocks of HTML code can be optionally marked with class="_divs" or class="_nodivs" to allow or disable conversion for that particular block of code.
