Displays the results of search requests entered into Forum search box or Forum search - advanced dialog web parts. Only the content of the forums belonging under the currently active group will be searched.

The search expression is passed to the web part through the SearchForum URL parameter - e.g.: .../forums.aspx?SearchForum=help. The forums are automatically hidden on the given page if this parameter is present in the URL.

For better performance, it is recommended to use index-based searching through forums provided by smart search web parts in the Full-text search category. For more information, please refer to Developer's Guide -> Modules -> Smart search.
