Here you can see a list of product option categories, which allow you to categorize product options that you offer together with the products you sell in your on-line store. A product option is sold as an addition to the given product, not as its replacement. For example, an inscription on a cell phone cover cannot be offered without a cell phone and multiple color variants of a T-shirt cannot be purchased separately from a T-shirt.

If global product options are allowed for the current site (CMS Desk -> E-commerce -> Configuration -> Store settings -> Global objects or Site Manager -> Settings -> E-commerce -> Global objects), the Site drop-down list is visible enabling you to view global product option categories, current site product option categories or a mix of global and current site product option categories. However, if global product options are not allowed for the current site, only product option categories created on the current site can be viewed. If available, the Site drop-down list offers you the following options:

(global and this site)

Both global and current site product option categories are listed. The option does not allow to create a new product option category.

(global)

Only global product option categories are listed. The option allows to create a new global product option category by clicking the AddNewCategory New category button.

current site

Only current site product option categories are listed. The option allows to create a new site product option category by clicking the AddNewCategory New category button.

The listed items can be Edited (Edit) or Deleted (Delete) and you can also perform OtherActions Other actions such as ExportObject Export, Backup Backup, Restore Restore, Delete Destroy or Clone Clone. After clicking the ArrowBottom icon in the header of the Actions column, a context menu is displayed, offering options for export of listed data to various types of files.
