The CMSEditableImage control displays an editable region in the Edit mode of CMS Desk that allows content editors to select an image. The chosen image is then displayed without the selection interface on the live version of the website.

Please note
This control is compatible only with ASPX page templates. On portal engine pages, use the Text -> Editable image web part instead of this control

This control requires either the CMSPageManager or CMSPortalManager control to regulate the flow of data to/from the editable region, it doesn't communicate with the database directly. There only has to be one Manager control for any number of CMSEditableImage controls.
