ChatNotificationInfoProvider.InsertNotification Method

Inserts new notification to the database. If there is already an unread notification with the same sender, receiver and roomID, the new one is not inserted!

Parameters

type

Type: CMS.Chat.ChatNotificationTypeEnum
Type of notification

senderID

Type: System.Int32
Sender (chat user ID)

receiverID

Type: System.Int32
Receiver (chat user ID)

roomID

Type: System.Nullable<Int32>
Room ID (in case of join room, leave room, etc. notifications). Null, if notification is not room related.

siteID

Type: System.Nullable<Int32>
Notification will be assigned to this site (null is global)
