While I was doing analysis and preparing specification for new
CMS Desk Dialogs which will be included in version 4.1 my team was working on different add-ons for the Kentico CMS. Now its time to introduce you the results.
First of all, I would like to say "Thank you" to guys from my team who participate in developing these add-ons. You did a really good job! Following add-ons were completed and will be described in more details in my future blog posts:
- SMS gateway integration (by Juraj Hrinik) - support for sending SMS notifications and messages using Clickatell gateway
- ICQ gateway integration (by Karol Jarkovsky) - support for sending ICQ notifications and messages using OscarLib library
- Windows Live Writer integration (by Karol Jarkovsky) - support for writing and publishing blog posts directly from the Windows Live Writer
- Silverlight Repeater and Silverlight Data Source web parts (by me) - general Silverlight document viewer with support for separate data sources, animated effects and XAML transformations
These add-ons will not be included in the official version. After publishing the post describing the specific add-on and its functionality you will be able to download it from our Marketplace.
My next blog post will be focused on ICQ gateway integration, it will come during the next week. See you soon.
