On the General tab, you can specify the following properties of the widget:
| • | Display name - descriptive name of the widget used in the Kentico CMS user interface |
| • | Code name - name of the widget used in website code |
| • | Category - defines which category the widget belongs under; you can change it here by selecting another category from the drop-down list |
| • | Based on - the name of the web part that the widget is derived from |
| • | Description - text description of the widget |
| • | Thumbnail - graphical representation of the widget in the widget selection dialog |
