Don't Miss "The Boring Kentico Show" on Twitch

   —

Is there something about Kentico you were afraid to ask? Are you struggling with a feature, or wondering whether EMS or Kentico Cloud is a good fit for your project? Or would you like to just watch me code and tell me how ugly it is?

I'm sure that at some point every one of us heard about Twitch. And if you haven't, you need to check it out. Twitch is a video streaming service used mainly by online gamers to show their screen while playing. Is it a waste of time? To be honest, I watched a few gamers play Age of Empires to learn some tricks and beat my friends in our own game later, without telling them about it of course.

But what if we used Twitch to implement something together? During my time consulting I remember many clients asking for help not just with Kentico, but all things including; how to set up IIS, which service to use for sending emails, which front-end framework to use, and so on. Sometimes people were even afraid to ask, thinking we would not want to help them with anything other than Kentico.

Office Hours and Topics

Every two weeks I will live-stream for about two hours. During that time anyone can join me (either on the call or through the chat window) and discuss their projects, my code quality, or whether the Czechs are still the biggest beer consumers in the world. If you want to know whether Kentico fits your project, or if you should consider Kentico Cloud or no CMS at all, just ask. Explain your use cases and let's discuss the best way to success. There are no taboo questions. If my guest or I know the answer or have an opinion, we will tell you.

Each session will have a different theme. I'll start with Kentico Cloud templates but will get to MVC widgets and other topics like static sites or Continuous Integration. There are so many interesting topics around that I can not cover them all, but I will post a list here on DevNet with upcoming dates and topics. As I mentioned above, for some topics I will invite guests to make it more interactive and to see if we can build something together.

If there is something you are interested in or you notice something is missing from the mentioned list, get in touch.

Join Us on Twitch

The sessions will run every other Wednesday at 15:00-1700 GMT+1 (watch out for summer-time as it keeps changing and only Outlook knows the rules). You can join me on Twitch on my channel, which is as easy as playing a video on YouTube. If you can't make the live stream, you can always check out the recording later. It will be available from Twitch directly, but you will also find a link to it on DevNet.

The first stream is on May 15, 2019, so make sure you block out your time!
