Staging slow or not loading [UniGrid] : Error during reloading data.

Hey everyone, this issue started recently for me, and I'm not sure if it's kentico or something else. When I go to the staging application on my production server, the loading animation will go for about 10 minutes and sometimes result in an error message Error [UniGrid] : Error during reloading data., and other times load successfully. This does not happen on my development or test environments. My staging architecture looks like this. development -> <- test -> <- internal production -> <- (2 server load balanced external production webfarm). All 3 of the production servers share the same database. In the error log it says "Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding." I am also reaching out to the DB admin who manages this server and kentico support. Will post back here if I figure out anything.

Where is your site hosted? Is it in the cloud? You may need to make sure that your database and file system are both in the same region. I had a similar issue with one of my sites that was pushed into azure. My site was in the east us region, but my database was central us, which created a timeout.

If it sometimes works and sometimes does not it sounds there might be issues with web farm - servers are out of sync. Also I've seen similar issue when external accelerators/caching was applied.

The other thing: have you upgraded recently? If this is your case just try to restart Kentico and/or IIS.
