Salesforce Integration - Lead assignment rules

When using the Salesforce Integration module to create leads in Salesforce the Salesforce Lead Assignment Rules are not being executed. For instance, I have a Salesforce Lead Assignment rule that says any leads coming in that are from Pennsylvania should be assigned to user X. This Assignment rule works if I create the lead in Salesforce manually and check the box "assign using active assignment rules". However, when the lead is created from being pushed from Kentico, these rules are completely bypassed.

Is there a way to ensure that these assignment rules are used when pushing leads from Kentico? I contacted Salesforce directly and they recommended talking to Kentico being that its likely due to the way the module was coded.

I know the Salesforce API contains methods of specifying whether or not to use default assignment rules. How does the Salesforce Module in Kentico do this? https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.api.meta/api/sforce_api_header_assignmentruleheader.htm

Hello, the Salesforce integration is not currently designed to trigger Salesforce Lead Assignment Rules. However, we may consider implementation of this feature in one of the future versions of Kentico. Additionally, you can allow others to vote for this feature here: ideas.kentico.com

I am afraid, it is not possible as the methods are internal and it would be possible to do only if you had a source license.
