Running Kentico in another database

I'm fishing here: would it be possible to use kentico on top of another database?

If yes, I would need some info...

I am afraid, Kentico supports MS SQL server only.

Hi,
I do not see any issues here. YOu will use e.g. the additional DB installer which is launched if the connection string is missing. Then, during the wizard you will select existing DB and also use the option to create Kentico objects in this DB.

In fact, I would have liked to know if it was possible to deploy kentico on different database engine, e.g. mysql etc
