Is anyone able to confirm that IPageDataContextRetriever.Retrieve uses caching?

The same question has been asked for Kentico 13, and the answer states that it is cached for a hardcoded value of 10 minutes. https://devnet.kentico.com/questions/is-ipagedatacontextretriever-cached
I would like to confirm that the Xperience by Kentico version works the same way.
