Import/export Activity

Hello,

I am exporting "Pages" from old Kentico 12 instance and import it to new Kentico12 instance using site import/export feature.

But while importing in new kentico12 instance , only a number of inserted records are imported. That is not overwriting existing pages of new Kentico 12 instance which are updated/deleted in old Kentico 12 instance. Can you please suggest what things are we missing in export/import?

Import is importing new pages only - if you are importing the package into an existing site. If you want to update existing pages, you need to either delete the site on the target and import the package as a new site or, use content staging to update the content on the target.
